Hi, I'm Anushka.

I am a behavioural scientist and a professional noticer. I study why people, and the organisations they build, do the irrational and occasionally brilliant things they do.

Most of my work is about what it takes to change any of it. I'm finishing my MSc in Applied Psychology and Economic Behaviour at Bath, and most of what I do sits at the applied end of behavioural science, where a diagnosis has to become something a client or a government can actually carry out.

I move across the field more than I pick one corner of it: behavioural consulting, consumer and market research, policy and public communication, and organisational change. The throughline is diagnosis. Before anyone reaches for an intervention, someone has to work out what is actually stopping people, and that part gets skipped more often than you would think.

Things I think about:

My placement year was twelve months at The Walt Disney Company in London, working on brand and franchise campaigns across EMEA. Since then I've consulted for an edtech company and a social mobility charity, redesigned the Met Office's severe weather warnings with a team, and won Best Presenter at the Q5 case hackathon.
